POST Meetings
The Commission meets quarterly to establish standards and regulations and to give direction to Commission staff. Commissioners serve without pay, but are reimbursed for their expenses for attending meetings. All Commission meetings are open to the public. Information about future Commission Dates and Agendas and previous Commission meeting minutes are listed below.

LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING
The Long Range Planning Committee, a subcommittee of the Commission, meets quarterly -- approximately six weeks prior to Commission meetings -- to review items recommended for Commission review/approval.
The Long Range Planning Committee meets at the POST Executive Office at 10:30 AM, 1601 Alhambra Boulevard, Sacramento, CA (unless notified otherwise).

FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING
The Finance Committee, a subcommittee of the Commission, meets quarterly to discuss fiscal and budgetary issues prior to making recommendations to the Commission for review/approval.

ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING
The Advisory Committee, a subcommittee of the Commission, meets the afternoon of the day before the Commission meeting to discuss and review items on the Commission agenda and makes recommendations to the Commission.

LEGISLATIVE REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING
The Legislative Review Committee, a subcommittee of the Commission, meets the day of the Commission meeting to discuss legislation impacting POST funding as it relates to peace officer selection, training, and standards.
The Legislative Review Committee meets at the Commission meeting site at 8:30 AM the morning of the Commission meeting.
